“Sky Wrapped” TikTok Branded Effect
The challenge
To celebrate 2024 coming to a close, Sky launched their “Sky Wrapped” campaign which looked back at a stellar year of top-class TV through a targeted influencer marketing campaign aimed at a Gen Z audience.
Sky needed something visually striking, repeatable, and with playtime that lasted over a minute to drive engagement with key demographics through branded influencer content that boosted awareness of Sky as a streaming platform to an underrepresented Gen Z audience.
Our approach
Alongside OK COOL, we produced a bespoke branded randomiser effect for TikTok that powered a coordinated influencer marketing campaign. The hand-picked creators generated content that reached upwards of 11 million viewers, leading to over 750,000 creators trying the filter themselves!
The branded effect encouraged TikTokers to share their results, with thousands of personalised videos being produced that tapped into the shared end-of-year nostalgia on the platform.
