Shopify – 3D creation for merchants

The challenge

Shopify asked us to produce a set of 3D models for their merchants Hem and Beni Rugs. Hem is a high-end modern furniture shop, while Beni Rugs is a merchant of Moroccan rugs.

Shopify is launching an AR Collection in their Shop app, and they wanted to feature some of their merchants’ products.

Our approach

We created 16 3D models of Beni Rugs and 15 of Hem products to Shopify’s specifications. The 3D models will be included in Shopify’s Shop app as part of their AR Collection, as well as in Beni Rugs and Hem’s Shopify stores. Users will be able to visualise these 3D models in their environment through AR before purchase, making better informed purchasing decisions.
